Everguard.ai, a provider of workplace sustainability and safety technology, has launched a new "plug and play" product suite called Arc360. Technical solutions include facial recognition and mask detection products, as well as safety solutions for cranes and steel mills.

Sundeep Ahluwalia, head of product at Everguard, said in a prepared statement: "Even with all the advancements in environment, health and safety so far, we still suffer millions of occupational injuries worldwide every year."

Everguard said its products apply artificial intelligence (AI) to edge computing, computer vision (CV), real-time positioning system (RTLS), wearable devices and other devices to provide sensor data.

Arc360 claims to provide proactive intervention to help manufacturers prevent industrial accidents-and millions of dollars in related costs and operational downtime.

Ahluwalia pointed out that the Arc360 product suite will be exclusively available online, enabling the company to quickly cover the global manufacturer base. He said Everguard.ai also continues to provide independent technology to "provide a way to proactively protect workers and reduce the cost of damage to the most dangerous products and machinery."

The Arc360 product suite will initially use three solutions to improve safety and productivity the easiest. COVID-19 products provide mask detection, facial recognition, door unlocking for non-contact entry, and non-contact body temperature detection for workers. As with other suppliers of such systems that started offering after the pandemic began, if high temperatures are detected, an alarm will be triggered.

Although not directly related to biometrics, CraneSafe and CobbleSafe products are related to the construction and manufacturing industries. CraneSafe combines edge computing and computer vision to continuously track active cranes to prevent safety accidents between cranes and workers, as well as crane-to-crane accidents.

The company said that CobbleSafe uses edge-based artificial intelligence and computer vision to provide tracking and rapid detection to prevent dangerous and costly cobblestone accidents. Not sure what pebbles are? Basically, when a problem occurs on the production line, molten steel passes through the factory at a speed of more than 20 mph.

According to the company, the Arc360 product portfolio will offer more products online in the next few months.

Will the funds also come in the near future? According to Pitchbook, a data provider in the venture capital industry, Everguard completed a $5 million seed round of financing when the company was founded in 2019. The results of the trial deployment, such as the deployment with the insurance company Zurich NA in September 2021, will become important evidence for investors and potential customers.
