With coronavirus case numbers on the decline, face masks are seeing an increase in availability and a decline in prices. Some N95 masks are selling for less than $1 a pop -- a far cry from the days of N95 mask shortages.

Many cities and states have relaxed their mask mandates, but there are still plenty of reasons to stock up on new N95 masks. It's a good idea to have some on hand in case of a future COVID-19 surge. And the Transportation Security Administration recently extended its security directive for mask use  on public transportation through at least April 18, so you'll still need to wear a mask if you're planning travel for spring break or another occasion.
